Carrier portal or a platform for company phones?
If your company is on one carrier and your IT team has time to do the carrier work itself, the carrier portal can be enough. Carrier portals are often clunky, though.

- Look at a platform when you’re on more than one carrier.
- Look at a platform, too, when your team doesn’t have time for the carrier work.
Neura Wireless is the platform for business wireless. It isn’t a mobile device management (MDM) tool. It works alongside the MDM you already run. Company phones, bills and devices from all three major carriers are in one place. Neura Wireless does the carrier work behind every request, and you approve the decisions.

How many carriers are you on?
A carrier portal is the carrier’s own website for managing your lines and bill on that one carrier. On more than one carrier, you have more than one portal. The Neura Wireless platform builds one inventory from your carrier data, across all three major carriers. Each line is matched to the person who has it and the department that pays for it.
Does your team have time for the carrier work?
With a carrier portal, your team sends the requests. With the Neura Wireless platform, Neura Wireless sends each request to the carrier. It follows up until the request is done and answers the carrier’s questions. Then it confirms the request is done, and you can see where each one stands.
When a charge isn’t on your plan, the platform flags it. You choose to dispute or accept it, and Neura Wireless takes the dispute to the carrier. Neura Wireless can also explain why your bill went up.

Who makes the decisions?
You do. If a request needs your OK, you’re asked. Only owners, admins and approvers on your team can approve a request.
Who runs it day to day?
With a carrier portal, your team runs it day to day. With the Neura Wireless platform, you pick: your own team in the platform, or Neura Wireless. When Neura Wireless runs it, that’s Managed Mobility by Neura Wireless. Managed mobility, sometimes called managed wireless operations, means handing the daily work of company phones to a provider. Either way, Neura Wireless does the carrier work.
